Since I haven’t finalized my blurb I thought I’d take this opportunity to let you know that LBF Books, my publisher and I will each donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each copy of DEADLY SECRETS to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Why the Breast Cancer Foundation? There are two reasons. The first one being that my Mom (one of the most caring and wonderful women and mother a girl could have) found a lump in her breast when I was just 15. It was benign -thank goodness. She has since found two more benign lumps. However a friend of mine wasn’t so lucky. A few years ago, I met Shannon, a courageous mother of two who wasn’t even 30 and had battled breast cancer twice and won. However when the cancer returned to the same breast a third time she finally lost her battle. So it’s for women like my Mom and Shannon that I want to make a difference.
I plan to donate approximately 50% of my royalties to the Breast Cancer Foundation and my publisher, LBF Books, has agreed to match this donation.
